Single Page Applications with Vue

In this course you build single page applications with Vue. You refresh the JavaScript these applications rely on, build a first single page application by hand and then learn with Vue how components, reactivity, routing and state work together. At the end you build a project of your own, with a framework of your choice.

All chapters follow one app. The association Lorraine Commons runs a library of things in the Lorraine quarter of Bern, where members borrow drills, tents or raclette ovens. Martina Hostettler from the board brings a new assignment in every part, and you extend the app step by step.

The course has nine parts. Part 0 brings the course overview, the setup and the entry test. Then come part 1 JavaScript for SPAs, part 2 SPA basics, part 3 Getting started with Vue, part 4 Components, part 5 Reactivity and composables, part 6 Routing and part 7 State and data. After that comes the exam, and with part 8 Architecture, quality and operations your project begins, with the project assignment, the README template and the project ideas. For reference there are the JS workshop with ten units and eleven optional topics for your project.
